Centennial ElementaryKids ClubUpdate: February 6, 2026 Kids Club is a certified, fee-based childcare program provided by ISD 12 - Centennial Community Education. Seasonal, site-based registration options open for enrollment are available below. We serve ISD 12 students and families in a choice-based program, offering a wide variety of activities, such as: unique creative and academic experiences social-emotional learning indoor & outdoor physical activity offerings We meet (or exceed) standards for school-age childcare set by State of Minnesota guidelines, in order to provide the highest quality program. We provide care year round, with two separate seasons: School Year for ISD 12 students enrolled Pre-K and K - 5 Summer C.A.M.P. for ISD 12 students enrolled K-6 in the Fall We are conveniently located at each elementary school during the academic year, and condensed sites over the summer. We strengthen social emotional skills through Character Strong curriculum by teaching students key character traits: respect, responsibility, gratitude, empathy, perseverance, honesty, cooperation, courage and creativity. ** PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS ** Families must register each child, each season, by selecting from the options below. Space is limited at each site. Approved contract(s) required to attend. Program eligibility: students enrolled in ISD 12 schools who are able to meet program/behavior guidelines and use the restroom independently. Accounts must be in good standing to register and participate. Kids Club families adhere to the policies, terms, and conditions found on our website, and as stated in the Kids Club Family Handbook. ** REGISTRATION SUMMARY ** All submitted registrations begin in "Pending" status. Contracts are reviewed / approved based on eligibility and space. Families are notified of approval, or if there is a wait list. NEW IN 2026! Centennial Middle School Track & Field (gr. 6-8)Middle SchoolThis program is open to Centennial Middle School students only. Athletes will compete against other schools in our conference in various running, jumping, and throwing events. Practice begins March 30 for 6th graders and April 1 for all athletes. The season ends the week of May 18. Please watch your email/texts if we are having inclement weather, we will also make announcements in school to update the practice status. Meets: There will be one or two meets each week. Meets will be with other schools in our conference. Meet dates will be announced as soon as we receive that information. Athletes will receive a uniform shirt, but will need to provide their own shorts and shoes. A team t-shirt is included. Parents will be asked to volunteer at one home meet. Transportation is provided to and from meet sites for athletes. Athletes will need to arrange transportation home from the middle school following the meets. Sports Physicals: Sports physicals are not required for 6th grade students. They are highly recommended but not required for 7-8th grade students. Physicals are good for three years unless restrictions exist. There will be after-school activity buses available leaving at 4:45 pm and after-school supervision until 6 pm if needed. Centennial PreschoolMarch 3 update: We are currently full at Blue Heron for all schedules. (You can still list Blue Heron as your first choice location so that you will be added to the waiting list.) Other schedules and locations have limited availability. Contracts are reviewed at the beginning of each month. The Centennial School District provides high-quality part-day and full-day preschool experiences. Classrooms are located at each of the elementary schools in the Centennial School District as well as the Early Childhood Center. (Part-day classes are only offered at the Early Childhood Center.) Centennial Preschool is held in classrooms with a 1 to 10 staff-to-student ratio, taught by licensed teachers using Creative Curriculum for Preschool and assessment tools approved by the State of Minnesota. We’ll focus on awareness of your surroundings both in and outside the house. Prepare for potential emergency situations for yourself and others who may be in your care. Basic First Aid will be covered. Discussions and demonstrations provide an overview on topics like: cooking, emergency preparation and plans, weather emergencies (what to have on hand and what to be aware of), hazardous materials and their storage, strangers, spending time with friends, etc. Bring a snack with beverage. Cookies & Canvas (gr. 6-8)Middle SchoolDo you enjoy painting? Are you interested in learning to paint? Come join our "Paint Party" atmosphere and learn to paint with acrylic paints on a 16" x 20" canvas or two 8" x 10" canvases using the step-by-step method or come with your own idea in mind! We take a cookie break while layers are drying and listen to music, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Beginner and advanced students are welcome to join! DASH After School Flag Football Camp (gr. K-4)ElementaryFor the purposes of safety and security, students must register for after school classes ONLY at the elementary school in which they are enrolled. Dash Sports Flag Football Camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of 'Respect, Hustle, and Pride'. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day. Footballs and flag belts are provided. Spikes/cleats and mouth guards are optional.Winter & Spring 2026 -

K-4)ElementaryDASH Sports Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas, including: sprinting, javelin, throwing, shotput, relay running, jumping and distance running. Campers will be tested/timed & re-tested on several events. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games; all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. DASH Basketball Tykes Camp (ages 2-6)Sports & RecreationDASH Sports Basketball Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of basketball through fun skill-based drills and mini-games. Players will be taught how to properly dribble, pass, shoot and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing and shoes. Balls are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.Winter & Spring 2026
