Boys & Girls Basketball Open Gym (entering gr. 4-12)Sports & RecreationPreregistration required to attend - no walk ups! The CHS/West Gyms will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 7-9 pm for basketball players to practice their skills. A gym supervisor will be onsite for the duration of the open gym. High School coaches may be present on occasion to offer assistance; however, this is not an instructional program - just a chance for athletes to work on their game. Participants will check in each night with the supervisor. Those who are enrolled in Summer Boys Basketball Camp (Course #6154) or Summer Girls Basketball Camp (Course #6105) can register at the reduced rate of $75.Summer 2026 -
Centennial Bowling Club (entering gr. 5-12)Sports & RecreationBowling Club is a fall co-ed sport. Bowlers of all skill experience levels are welcome! New bowlers may attend up to two practices before committing to join. Fee includes practices, coaching by skilled instructors, and regular season competitions. 5th and 6th graders are eligible for practice only. Practices will be held at Bowlero Blaine, our sponsoring bowling center for the Centennial High School bowling team, on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4-5:30 pm. Bowlers must provide their own transportation to practices and meets. The team manager can help arrange carpooling for those that are interested. Conference meets will take place one day per week on Friday afternoons at bowling centers in Arden Hills and Mounds View from early September through mid-November (skipping MEA). The club end dates are estimates and will depend on the meet schedule. Students are welcome to join at any time. No equipment is needed and a Centennial bowling t-shirt is included. A broad range of skills training and skill-based games are covered. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Starting SoonDASH Soccer Tykes (ages 2-5)Sports & RecreationDASH Sports Soccer Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the game of soccer. Key elements of dribbling, passing, and shooting will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a labeled water bottle and wear athletic clothing & shoes (spikes and shin guards optional). Soccer balls are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.Summer 2026 -

Fall Recreational Soccer Program (Grades K-5 in Fall of 2026)Sports & RecreationUpdate July 29: Registration deadline extended to August 6th! Due to lower than expected enrollment Boys Grade 2 and Grade 3 will be combined, as well as Girls Grades 2 and Grade 3. Boys and Girls Separated for Most Grade Levels if Numbers Allow! Centennial Soccer Club introduces age-appropriate, individual technical development and the tactical concepts of soccer to children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Practice time has a focus on age-appropriate training that will include ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, and teaching the basics of the game. One day per week will be practice and the other day will be games. Practices will be 45 minutes long. Practice times are evenings and will adapt to changing sunset times as the season goes along. Games will be 60 minutes long. All sessions are led by volunteer coaches. Schedule, field information, roster, etc. will be powered by Sports Engine App (more info will be sent out as teams are formed). Bring a soccer ball: Grades K/1 size 3; Grades 2-5 size 4. Please wear soccer cleats, and shin guards. Season Dates: Wednesdays & Saturdays, August 22 - October 10 (no soccer Sept 5). Times: Your team's practice and game times will be finalized prior to season start. Game times will vary on Saturday mornings. Practice time will be consistent (TBD per team 5 pm or later). Fall Kickoff: August 22. Receive your jersey and meet your coaches at the first practice! Location: Rice Lake Elementary-southeast soccer fields Price: $140 Registration Deadline: August 2. Extended to August 6! No refunds thereafter. Select the correct session based off entering grade for next school year (2026-27), not your current grade level. If you run into issues, check that you have entered your child's grade level under their profile information. Disclaimer: Our plan is to execute playing levels and teams as stated below. However, the Centennial Soccer Club reserves the right to combine grades and/or genders based on registration numbers if needed. *If you notice a grade level is full but are still interested, please put your child on the waitlist. If we receive enough interest to form another pair of teams, and still have field space, we can add to the league. We are looking for coaches! We have warped walls, angled steps, salmon ladders, cliff hangers, tilted ladders; all Ninja inspired obstacles. Increase flexibility, problem-solving and coordination that can be transferred into ninja levels testing or enhance other athletic performances. Mini Cougar Cheer Clinic (gr. 1-5)Sports & RecreationYour mini Cougar will learn and perform cheers with the CHS varsity cheerleaders during part of a Centennial home football game on Wednesday, October 14. Practice for the game will take place on Sunday, October 11. On game day, check-in and material review prior to the game is 5:45-6:15 pm at the West Building Cafeteria. Enter at door N40. The parking lots fill quickly prior to the game, so please allow time for parking. At game time, girls will sit with their families to start and then join the cheerleaders on the sideline at the beginning of 2nd quarter and then perform with them at halftime. Pick up your mini Cougar after the half-time routine to join you in the stands to watch the remainder of the game. Family members will need to pay to attend the game. Registration fee includes poms, cheer bow, snack during the clinic and Mini Cougar's game day entry fee. Registration will close Friday, October 2, spots permitting.Fall 2026 -

Skyhawks Track & Field (age 6-12)Sports & RecreationIntroducing young athletes to a sport rich in tradition and history, Skyhawks Track & Field combines technical technique development with safety and a major focus on fun. Athletes will learn several Olympic-style events such as the 50m Dash, 100m Dash, 4X1 Relay, Long Jump, Standing Broad Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw, and Discus. Each athlete will get their times and throws recorded each day so they can track their improvement throughout the program. We teach sport-specific fundamentals along with footspeed, jumping, flexibility, range of motion, coordination, endurance, and self-esteem.Summer 2026
