Fall Middle School Play: As the Phantom Turns

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Monday, September 14, 2 pm!

A hit television soap opera, “The Whispers of Scandal”, has moved filming to a new studio, only to discover that it is inhabited by a phantom, a former actor, who haunts the building. The Phantom falls in love with the understudy of the lead role of Julianna Sterling, and endeavors to gain her love by teaching her everything he knows about acting and attempts to get rid of the actor that has the role of Julianna, so that his love can be the star of the show. A comic farce.

Mandatory Meeting:
CAST: All students who want to be in the “cast” as actors and parent/guardian Sept 2, 6-7 pm
CREW: All students who want to be on a “crew” (Booth/Costume/Set) and parent/guardian September 11, 6-7 pm

Auditions: MANDATORY FOR ALL Sep 9: 3-5:15 pm
Rehearsals begin: Sep 14
Shows: October 18-Nov 11

• *Did your student attend the mandatory informational meeting or get approval from the Directors to register?
• *Did they turn in the parent consent/information forms to the director and get approval to register?
• *If you are registering for cast – was your student cast in the show after auditioning?
• *If you are registering for crew, did the Directors notify you and give approval for your student to register for crew?
