NEW! Say it in Song Spanish (gr. 1-5)

Classes are designed to learn Spanish language and culture in a fun, playful, and interactive way. We’ll use songs, stories, games, and creative activities. Some topics covered may include: my body, numbers, colors, vacations, camping, summer, values, community, and everyday expressions. Under the guidance of our instructor, who is a native speaker, participants will develop basic listening and vocabulary skills along with how to pronounce words in Spanish. Leave camp with a better understanding of Latino Culture and discover the richness of learning a second language to connect with our diverse Latino residents in Minnesota. Participants will take home a worksheet to build confidence and practice after class.

Families are welcome to attend the final half hour of the last class for a performance of Spanish songs the children learned.
