GRASP Packet Order
Want to help your child keep their reading and math skills strong over the summer?
GRASP is an at-home program for students finishing grades K-8. Your child will receive a packet with a booklet that contains 9 weekly review lessons from the grade they just completed. Each lesson takes about an hour to finish.
Mail scan sheets to GRASP for scoring and they email lesson results back. Or parents can score the scan sheets with their cell phone (excludes grade K reading)! Parents will receive an email with more information after the registration is processed.
- SUGGESTED RETURN DATE FOR FIRST LESSON IS JUNE 12.
- ALL LESSONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY AUGUST 7
Children in grades 4 to 8 can participate online or by book. If choosing online, the results of each question are shown immediately.
If your child successfully completes at least 7 units with 70% accuracy, they are awarded a certificate. Those successfully completing all 9 units with 70% accuracy receive a medal (one per child). Results will be shared with your school, and they will distribute certificates and medals.
The cost is $38 for one subject or $62 for both subjects for each child. Order the grade level they are just completing so they can review, or order a different level appropriate for your child.
All materials will be sent home with your child by the last week of school. Online logins will be emailed.
Deadline to order GRASP materials is Friday, April 17.
Missed the deadline, but still want to participate? You can order packets directly from GRPS grasp.grps.org at the individual price of $40 for one subject or $70 for two and they will mail directly to you.
