NEW! 3D Printing: Design, Build, Race (entering gr. 4-8)
Start your engines and your imagination! In this hands-on camp, participants explore how engineers design and test vehicles using 3D printing. Campers will create two types of cars - a self-powered car (using stored mechanical energy) and a DC motor-powered car - while learning the basics of 3D modeling, motion, energy and aerodynamics. Using the engineering design process, they’ll test, refine, and improve their creations from the engineering design process. and they’ll test, refine, and improve their creations from concept sketch to final race, putting creativity and problem-solving in the driver’s seat.
